Frequently Asked Questions
What are the chances of seeing a tiger?▼
Ranthambore has one of the highest tiger sighting rates in India (~60-70%). Morning safaris generally have better chances. However, wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed.
Canter vs Gypsy - which is better?▼
Gypsy (6-seater jeep) offers better mobility and photo angles. Canter (20-seater) is more economical but less flexible. We can upgrade to private gypsy on request.
When is Ranthambore open?▼
The park is open October to June. Best time is October-March (comfortable weather). The park closes during monsoon (July-September).
What camera equipment should I bring?▼
A DSLR/mirrorless with 200-400mm telephoto lens is ideal. Entry-level 55-250mm also works. Smartphones struggle for distant wildlife. Dust protection is recommended.
