How difficult is the Srinagar to Leh road journey?

The journey is considered moderately challenging due to high altitude and long driving hours. However, traveling via Srinagar is actually easier for acclimatization compared to the Manali route because the altitude gain is gradual.

A minimum of 7–8 days is recommended to comfortably explore major destinations like Kargil, Leh, Nubra Valley, and Pangong Lake while allowing time for acclimatization.

Is acclimatization necessary during a Ladakh trip?

Memorable Ladakh Expedition This was my first long-distance bike trip and it exceeded my expectations. The mountain passes, especially Tanglang La and Khardung La, were challenging but incredibly rewarding. The itinerary was well balanced between riding and sightseeing. If you're looking for an adventure-filled trip in the Himalayas, this tour is definitely worth it.
